I've been coaching for 20 years and have used a lot of different whiteboards. I spent about three times as much as I normally do for a whiteboard to get, whatI thought was,nice upgraded premium product. I use wet erase markers for my lineup so it doesn't get wiped off by accident or rain clear it off. The marker instantly soaks in has only a really strongly visible for about 30 seconds. I literally have my wife neatly hand right everything on a piece of paper and we clip it to this board hanging in the dugout. I think you can get a clipboard from Staples for about $3. So I'm out $41 on this expensive clipboard.
Hi Coach Rob, I’m sorry about this. You were absolutely right to expect the board to work as described. We discovered that our product description incorrectly stated that the board could be used with both wet- and dry-erase markers. The board is designed for dry-erase markers, and we corrected that information immediately after seeing your review.
I completely understand your frustration, especially since you specifically use wet-erase markers to prevent your lineups from being accidentally wiped away. That was an error in our listing, and we take responsibility for the confusion. I’m sorry the board didn’t meet your expectations.
